Hoax or not...I don't know. BUT..."I wanted to kill myself" and now I guess he doesn't. I suppose one needs to wait a little while before making an impulsive decision...like maybe a year at sea and then see if one still feels the same way. Just not enough boats to go around though.

Mom's need to raise their children. They need to be there for them in the formative developing years.
My wife and I were both employed when we chose to have our first child. I helped her out for six weeks with Vacation time, etc. I went back to my low wage job and she stayed at home to raise our children. We scraped by for years! She has since gone back to work.
